Allergies!

So, I haven't posted in a while...but I thought I would blog about how I found out that I am allergic to almost everything!!! I am allergic to 25 things! It is totally crazy...and I feel oftentimes that I cannot eat anything. It is really hard to go out to eat, especially.
So...here is the list (I will try to remember everything)
Milk, all potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams, pumpkin, radishes (who cares?), eggplant (gross), eggs, wheat, buckwheat, sunflower, safflower (used as an oil for pretty much anything pre-made), sesame, tomatoes (devastating), bell peppers, onion, garlic, cantaloupe, pineapple, millet (not a huge deal), almonds (so sad), walnuts, mustard, and 2 more I can't remember right now!

It has been really hard, but I am figuring out things that I can eat.  Sort of crazy, but oh well. I am moving out with a friend who took the same allergy test and figured out she is allergic to 23 things, and many of them are the same things I am allergic to. This will work out perfectly because we can eat weird together. I am really excited about moving out and living on my own again (well...with a roommate, that is). It will be great.

Oh my goodness! That stinks. What kind of stuff do you eat? I am so glad that you found out though what is causing you to feel sick. How exciting to move out with your friend!

I eat a lot of plain food...I have been eating more meat than normal (but I can only have salt and pepper on it). I made a really yummy salsa out of watermelon and mangos. It was SOOO yummy! I actually think it tastes a little like salsa with tomatoes in it! There are a few cereals I have found that I can eat, and I can have one brand of rice milk. I am doing ok...trying to experiment more so that I don't get bored or frustrated. The worst part is that I really can't eat out, but oh well.
