So, I haven't posted in a while...but I thought I would blog about how I found out that I am allergic to almost everything!!! I am allergic to 25 things! It is totally crazy...and I feel oftentimes that I cannot eat anything. It is really hard to go out to eat, especially.
So...here is the list (I will try to remember everything)
Milk, all potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams, pumpkin, radishes (who cares?), eggplant (gross), eggs, wheat, buckwheat, sunflower, safflower (used as an oil for pretty much anything pre-made), sesame, tomatoes (devastating), bell peppers, onion, garlic, cantaloupe, pineapple, millet (not a huge deal), almonds (so sad), walnuts, mustard, and 2 more I can't remember right now!
It has been really hard, but I am figuring out things that I can eat. Sort of crazy, but oh well. I am moving out with a friend who took the same allergy test and figured out she is allergic to 23 things, and many of them are the same things I am allergic to. This will work out perfectly because we can eat weird together. I am really excited about moving out and living on my own again (well...with a roommate, that is). It will be great.

MY PHONE GOT STOLEN!!!
Ok...So I don't have tons of time right now, but thought you might want to know that one of my students STOLE my cell phone 2 days ago. I am so annoyed and upset. So, you probably have not tried to contact me, but just in case, I don't have that phone anymore. In addition, I do not have your phone numbers because I don't have any numbers memorized because they are just in my phone! AHHH!

Spirit Week
Ok... So it was spirit week this week. Thursday was super hero day. This is what one of the teachers put on Good Morning Parsons (our video announcements in the morning). I was mortified at first, and then it just made me laugh really hard. My principal called me and she was laughing so hard she could barely talk. The only creepy thing is that a couple of students asked the teacher who put these on GMP to print the picture out so that they could take it home and put it on their wall. Kind of weird, but I have gained popularity points among the students!
Another teacher and I have been planning these outfits for a couple months for this rally. We were stoked to finally wear them. We ordered the shorts and socks and made our shirts. It was a blast to wear these smokin' hot outfits at school. The kids thought we were awesome and crazy at the same time! I had a lot of fun (even though the shorts were CRAZY short! Oh well. I even went to dance practice after school sporting my awesome outfit. I love fun days like this at school. It makes life interesting!

Pi day madness!!!!
Ok...so pi day was so much fun...and pretty disgusting! We raised over 200 dollars for our eighth grade celebration day, so that was awesome. Students paid $1 to throw a paper plate with whipped cream on it at us. Our principal even participated. She is the one in the pics to my left. The guy to my right is the other 8th grade math teacher. We had so much fun. We also had pie eating contests...my classes against Barone's classes. That was a lot of fun! I couldn't eat the pie, but it was fun watching the students go crazy and really get into it.
